  I’m a Digital Nomad who traveled extensively 29 countries so far, i have been working in hospitality on and off for 13 years and feel like this hostel really deserves a review I arrived in El Tunco thinking about staying there for some days, and then visiting somewhere else. More than 6 weeks later I ended up almost crying when it came to saying goodbye to the hostel’s employees. I never felt so welcomed and well treated like in Papaya. Every each person perform their task flawlessly: from the reception to the kitchen. For the travelers that look for great vibes: This is the place to be guys For whoever owns the hostel: your employee are worth gold,

  Five stars for the value you get, nothing fancy. Clean simple rooms with fan and small bathroom. Nice it is tucked away from the oceanfront bars which is a short walk to the beach. This makes it quieter than most hostels in the area. Room 2 was a quiet sound bunker.

  Beautiful place. Amazing staff breakfast lunch and dinner available for purchase. You can buy beer drink and chill by the pool. Majority of people staying are friendly as well. If you're staying in the dorm you'll meet all kinds of people. $10 AC Dorm is worth it.
