::I had made my reservation online. I thought I was set. I had purchased all the required insurance along with the car reservation. When I got there Alamo said they would not honor the insurance I had purchased on a travel website along with my car reservation. My American express covered the rest of the insurance. Alamo did not honor my American express insurance. American express faxed Alamo a copy of the insurance contract. At the end I ended up getting a smaller car so that I didn't have to walk back to the airport. Please do not use Alamo in el salvador unless you want to pay more for insurance than for the car.
